Real speed measurement up to 450 km / h!

With the speed sensor as an addition to LinkVario and MUX-Box it is possible to measure airspeeds between 0 and 450 km/h. Recorded in the transmitter and output via speech output. The speed measurement is performed by measurement of back pressure (that is, the air pressure generated by the flight speed), and ambient air pressure.
The speed sensor consists of two parts:
- The pitot tube is designed as a Prandtl tube. Here, the ambient pressure is measured directly by the pitot tube on the ring mounted holes. In this way, the system is independent of the pressure conditions in the body (such as cooling air flow).
- Precision differential pressure transducer connected to LinkVario and MUX-Box. The power is supplied from LinkVario or the multiplexer.
